A Sunday Drive Down Memory Lane…On A Quest For Some “Chinese”
Happy Sunday Morning, GHers!
Big day around here – it’s our Karina’s 20th Birthday, so we’re all about celebrating today!
This being said, I just couldn’t get into the doom and gloom mind-set surrounding GH or our couple for today. So guys, if you plan to join me, you will have to be in the mood for a celebration! You may ask, “What is there to celebrate?” Well, plenty! Jason and Sam may not have much right now in the way of happiness, but they have had plenty to celebrate. Why not go back and revisit some of THOSE times?
Hearing Robert Yi reminisce about that beautiful, warm September night when Jason and Sam became Mr. & Mrs. Morgan made me feel like some “Chinese” myself. So on this week’s Drive, we’ll be going on a quest for some…and some of the best!
Allow yourself to go back to that amazing week in The Morgans’ History, and try to recall all of the wonderful emotions we all enjoyed: Happiness, Love, Excitement, Hope.
Go ahead and smile.

Truly, Jason and Sam had everything one couple wish upon a Soap Supercouple! There were so many moments to celebrate! *sigh* I am hoping that our Drive and the “Chinese” we managed to find left you with the “sustenance” we will all need in the days and weeks ahead. Let’s be there for each other, and for the couple we loved long before the new writing team.

I hope these are true because I just read that Jason and Liz will sleep together in Sepetember. Ron is writing Liz to be like the Marty character from OLTL. I don’t know what that means since I never watched OLTL. I hope it’s not true because that is not who Jasam are. They are not cheaters. Makes me think about the episode when Sam asks Jason if he is cheating on her and he said NEVER. The teqiulla and dominoes episode from 2005. What can we do to stop the destruction of JASAM? I can’t bare to watch GH anymore if they are just going to keep destroying this couple and what makes them so incredible.

General Hospital Happens: Like I said in previous, posts is never wrong. Seriously, as long as I’ve been reading their spoilers they’ve been on point. Marty is a character that John McBain once had a relationship with, they lost a child together. I don’t think McBain was with her because he loved her. To my understanding for the past several years he’s always loved Natalie. Which is odd that they got him acting like Natalie don’t exist. Anywho, she became obsessed with John and tried everything to break them up. She switched Baby Liam’s DNA results. Tried to kill Natalie and a whole bunch of stuff. I watched OLTL on and off. So I didn’t see the whole history of Jolie. But, I know some stuff.
So when they compare Liz to Marty. They are trying to say she will become obsessive like her and start doing crazy stuff out of jealousy. I can’t tell if that’s how they’re going.

I didn’t watch today but read the comments concerning the show. I did follow OLTL when Marty was on and it seems that Liz is being set up like Marty was. Marty was Cole’s mother. She was raped by Todd in college. Lost her memory later on in life, met Todd, fell in love with him, made love to him and regained her memory. She eventually fell in love with McBain. McBain was in love with Natalie. Natalie had to have a paternity test done. Marty changed the results because she didn’t want to lose McBain. End result: McBain found out that he was the father and he and Natalie had a HEA at the end of the show. I hope RC is not writing Liz as a mirror image of Marty. and I am not a Liz fan. He is also making Sam look like a whore. She is pining for McBain with no afterthought of Jason. This is not the Sam that we know. I guess the time has come for me to give GH up.

What is wrong with these writers. I’m really not liking this, then they made it seem like John don’t even want Natalie. I love Jolie! Like he will settle because he got a kid by her. What is wrong with RC? Sam is not Liz she don’t take other people’s man. At least not anymore, she’s changed since being with Jason.

well they had Sam marry 5 men for money.. All i see with this kind of writing is pure hate.. RC/Frank maybe pissed their show failed.. they got the Job for GH and tell themselves they are going to run it i to the ground..no interest in trying to save the show..since they took over no one on the show had any happy moments.. Sam happy moment was like 2 sec with her baby..

I been reading some message boards and OLTL fans are mad as hell saying that their characters have been assassinated John/Todd especially. I said to myself isn’t this what we GH’ers have been saying all along about our GH characters. Oltl’ers are being slapped in the face because they came over with the sole intention of seeing their characters live on, except they get character assassinations & s/ls they themselves have seen for years and now it seems they are fed up of it. majority of comments i have read shows them VERY upset about the john/sam kiss! i hope TPTB know what they are doing because they are upsetting 3 huge fans bases (jolie,jasam, liason) just to please the odd fan base that occurred 10 years ago (caleb.livvie) I hope for their sakes (rc/fv) they could fix this monster they have created.

wow, what is he doing, i just had someone tell me they heard that fertile mertile sleeps with Jason and end up pregnant, right than they find JJ, this is driving me crazy, i don’t think i can handle this crap, i love my JaSam, it seem as if they are killing them more and more each day…Why would the LiarSon fans be mad, isn’t this what they want Jason with Liz, that is what they are getting, Liz alway end up with Jason under bad circimstances, so they must be in heaven now, the woman he loves is mad at him, so he turns, to second hand Liz….this writer is an idiot.

i heard about the jiz sex not about pregnancy but right about now i wouldn’t doubt it! some jiz fans want jiz, some are actually rooting for mc bam & some want liz far away from jason. IMO any way u look at it they are getting screwed, the ones who want jiz KNOW that as soon as jason finds out baby jj is his, liz is not even going to be a thought… liz who, those wanting mcbam know the same thing & those wanting liz away from jason are mad that she is even in this s/l to begin with. so they all are getting screwed.

i don’t even get this, so Jason tells Sam his gonna fight for her, but instead, we are watching him spend every second he can with Liz what sense does that make…I used to hear the writers want to break JaSam to make them stronger, really having them sleep with others for no reason, at all…this is making me dislike these characters, how can we want Jason with Sam, when we are watching him be nothing but an @ss for him, how will they become a family when they are slowly breaking them, even if they are separated, why should they be sleeping with others, right now, Sam just had a baby, they can’t even let her heal first, Jason is a big part of what went wrong, so his energy, should be spent working or trying to get Sam back, but instead his always with Liz, the silliness is unbareable.

Jizzers are on cloud nine right now!!! what you talking about? Jolie haters and Jizzers want McBam to happen. But, Blair/Todd fans and Jolie fans are pissed. I say it’s time to stop this OLTL vs. GH stuff because both shows are getting torn apart. Both fan bases are not happy. OLTL fans already lost their show, now they have to deal with their faves being assassinated. I checked the ratings. We are number 4 with a 1.8 rating.

apparently jolie fan base is very similiar to the jasam fan base, its either you love them or hate them & there are alot of haters just like our jasam has haters. this poster commented that even the jolie haters banded together with the jolie fans in outrage to this kiss! so wow … its big alrite! as i said i hope TPTB know what they are doing with such low ratings/threat of cancellation I would not take such a huge gamble at this time!!

LOL..this makes me wonder do you think the writers know the show will be cancelled by next year so they are just playing around for the remaining year? or are they just stupid…at this point i see one of 2 things, they did not do their homework, and do not know or care to know our characters, or they don’t care about our show, and they are saying F##k, ya i will do what i want if you want to take a ride come if not, oh well…i am just so disappointed at this time, with all that is happening to our show.

I have been saying it for a while now I wonder if the writers have been hired to tank the show! this way ABC does not stand the chance of taking the whole blame of cancelling their last remaining soap! The story lines are MIRROR images of those that where on OLTL not to mention the one GH s/l the writers chose to recycle was the SOS which costed GH millions of viewers, tell me is this coincidental to you? They argue that the DID s/l was set up by the previous regime but they continued it and to no end because seems like kate is going to have another alter soon, I am just waiting for her to have a male alter then I can surely say rc/fv are simply dusting off OLTL scripts & changing the headers to GH scripts. The same exact s/l just with different characters… wow 10 points for originality! to add insult to injury the OLTL’ers are now complaining of character assassinations something we GHers have been complaining of since i don’t know march????

Seriously, i really thought the LiarSon crap was put away when Jason and Sam got back together, i don’t mind our couple breaking up, but really Liz again, it is just dumb, what sense does it make especially when we know the baby is for Jason, once he finds out, i doubt his just gonna walk away from Sam he will want to raise the baby with her…i believe the writers are trying to get us cancelled but i don’t understand why, cause they would be out of a job…how can the OLTL characters be mad, i mean they are kinda running our show, well maybe Todd, because they have backed his character into a corner, cause i see no reason for Jason to not kill him once he finds out, what he did to Sam or them, right now iam sitting on 2 weeks of GH, that i have not watch, because i know there is nothing but disappointment waiting for me, why would these idiots want to do this to the fans, it’s like this we have more crap on the show than good things, i hate to be turning away from the show because of the other stories but, there is nothing good happening now.

I’m not sure about cancellations. Because, I read somewhere that Katie Couric is afraid to face soap fans and wants GH to be the lead in for her new show. Then I read GH may come to primetime. But, so far I think these are suggestions being throw around.

@ names not all jizzers are happy. I’ve seen some jolie haters band with jolie fans to the mcbam kiss (i was very shocked with this one). they are also worried about when blair comes next week. I feel it for them because i heard carly/todd kiss. so wow carly & sam are going to be the most hated women in PC. to be honest i actually feel sorry for the OLTL’ers because their writers screwed them over big time. I don’t hate OLTL or their characters (well except Todd lol) but we are now both complaining of character assassinations on both sides.. what does that say!?

Yeah, I know there are some who don’t want Liz near Jason. Unfortunately, the ones that do are much louder than the ones who don’t. The writers are screwing both shows. Some GH fans think OLTL characters are getting a better deal. They don’t see that OLTL is getting just as much a bad deal.

but the thing is this , this is GH not OLTL, so those fans have to understand, these people have to adjust to our show, the fan of GH should not have to suffer for the OLTL fans…the writer should have brought those characters over a way that worked for everyone, but instead they are on a mission, to do what they want,OLTL should not even be an issue, if this is how things were gonna be,they should have said, once OLTL get canned we will combine the shows, the sameway had it been GH that was canned, and they decided to bring some of our fav. characters over, i would understand we have to accept what they give us, i would not want them to turn the show into the mob, as our show was…

I hope these writers aren’t that dumb to hook Todd up with Carly. But I here the kiss between Carly and Todd was to make Blair jealous. I’m not sure Blair/Todd equals Carly/Sonny. I can’t see Blair and Todd actually apart. These tow stay thinking of each other. Carly and Sonny on the other hand act like they hate each others guts most of the time. I see them apart a long time. I totally agree with Jolie and Jasam. You know these two couples happened around the same time. I think Jolie was a little bit before.

I hear what u say abt carson I just know some fans think carson belong together just like blair/todd. Jolie was 9 yrs in the making I think and jasam was 8. So yea around the same time and they too have been through rough times just like jasam its kind of the same story for both couples that’s y I feel rc will do the same drag the paternity and have them be with other ppl b4 reuniting them! It will be interesting to see if the ratings go up. Maybe FV/RC think that because there is so much buzz concerning the current couples people will watch to see what happens. I wonder what they will do if the ratings go down. Will they continue on the character destruction path or try to right their wrongs? There is a GH fan club weekend in a couple of weeks. It will be interesting the type of information, if any, the actors will share.
I am a Jasam fan but cannot bare to watch the show. I know it is not helping the actors keep their jobs if viewers stop watching but I will not watch this character destruction.
You know it is a catch-22. If ratings go down, there is a possibility that the show will be cancelled. If ratings go up, the viewers are not promised that RC wiil correct his wrongs.

Hey guys my JaSam loving heart took a serious hit yesterday. I can’t believe the crap that I heard through twitter that happened yesterday. Are we really suppose to believe that Sam and John have this amazing connection that they just can’t ignore it any longer and they can’t stay away from each other. I hated how it seemed Sam was more concerned about Natalie’s feelings more than she was about her own husbands. IT was like she didn’t even care about her marriage anymore and that is jsut not right. I think when John comes back he and Nat will be broken up and they will have Sam and John have a full blown sleazy affair and so will Liarson. They will not be happy until they completely assassinate JaSam. I’m sorry but I just can’t take it anymore. And now I am hearing that John and Sam are the ones to look for JaSam’s baby and Jason is with Liz at this time that is total BS, They don’t care about our show or our characters. If GH gets cancelled this will all fall at Vicki Dummer’s feet becasue she let these two do this and didn’t stop it. I’m at the point why are we trying to save GH its not GH anymore it is a screwed mess of OLTL with a few GH actors thrown in. I’m sorry but I would rather see my show end then to watch the destruction of what was one of the greatest soaps ever. And the destruction of the greatest supercouple ever JASAM. It has been a pleasure and honor to be associated with all of you but I think my time with GH has come to an end. AB I feel what you are saying, I’m so pissed it’s not funny. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE SAM, JASON & JASAM but Sam acted like Liz yesterday when she was asking if john would tell Natalie! It was like Jason who??? Then in the next episode Jason is conveniently her husband, I hate how RC makes JaSam use the terms husband/wife when it is convenient to him. This s/l is just the same as john/Natalie on oltl they took a year to find out Liam was John’s, same will happen for JaSam. Words can’t even express how I hate this s/l!!!
And why the hell is Jason kissing Liz I don’t care if its sloppy secs stay away from her! Jeez I don’t blame Sam alone but Sam seemed to have wanted more with John! What the hell is happening to our couple!?
Imagine OLTL fans feel like RC their own writers are screwing them over! I have been patient but this kind of writing is too sadistic for me, I think I do need a time out from GH I literally am stressed because of it!

I hated yesterday witha passion and thought they had Sam acting like a bitch in heat I almost espected John to say lets go back to the motel and she would have jumped at the chance. Sam is balming everything on Jason and don’t get me wrong he has done plent of wrong and he should have been there for her and he wasn’t. But she has to take responsiblility too she is as much to blame as he is. She dindn’t have to go to that motel she could have wnet to the LH or stay somewhere else. And she said it was just for one night and tomorrow she was going to find somewhere else but just as soon as she knew John was there she made the decision to stay there. So they are both worng but Jason is trying to talk to her and trying to work it out but she won’t even let him. All she can do is keep turning to John and that is just not right.

Why does Sam have to all a sudden change her mind and come around!?! Sam needs time. Unfortunately, it won’t be enough time. I hated how they made it seem like Sam was about to jump John’s bones, and like John don’t want Natalie. But, I don’t blame Sam for not wanting to work things out now. She’s always trying to work things out with Jason.
I hate how they are doing Sam! Making Jason look like a victim! Sam has done everything for this man. She fought to keep him alive so many times. She’s been raped, lost her baby, and has like 50 people in town against her. Carly blames her, Sonny blames her, Elizabeth blames her, and Michael blames her. Heather is after her. But, it’s boo whoo Jason. What has he been through? lost a baby he decided to love at the last minute. Jason always gets time to think things out and heal. Sam is always rushed to except when Jason is hurting and forgive him.

I agree John needs to be with his family. They need to bring Nat and Liam to Port Charles. However, I can careless if Sam hangs with John. Sam needs a friend to. I hope once Jasam is back together, Sam doesn’t stop talking to John. Jason hasn’t stopped talking to Elizabeth and Carly. Two women he has slept with, one in which he got pregnant. Sam is allowed to have a friend she just kissed. I’m guilty of watching today’s episode live. Based on today’s episode and my spoiler about Jasam. It seems they will be getting back together. Because, Heather left her purse with Baby Jason’s DNA results out in the office of Crimson (Manning Enterprise).

ITA with everything that you said. I am done as well. I call and email daily and I don’t think I will continue to do that either. Why it’s falling on deaf ears. I stopped watching when JASAM were broken up. I never watched Jason with Liz and I NEVER WILL. They didn’t have the chemistry or spark even before Sam came to GH.I am really sad but I can watch on you tube the happy times. If I was a Liz fan I would be pissed. They are using her as a rebound girl. I would never want my favorite character used that way.
