A Drive Is Still A Drive…No?

Helloooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! I can literally hear an echo!

I know…it’s been some time. We got back from our getaway late Friday night and wouldn’t you know it – vacation was so over and reality came crashing down on me when I went to start my Sunday Drive on Saturday night and had no internet. Huh…after turning everything on, off, up, down, after a few choice words and realizing the cable also wasn’t working…I made the call to my provider only to find that a transformer fire on my street that afternoon meant it would be down until it could be fixed by a team….

Trust me, friends, it was so NOT the way to end a vacation! My Sunday Drives are “sacred”, and through surgeries, renovations, and more surgeries, I have always managed to get the Sunday Drive posted. I have been obsessing for the past three days that I failed you all, my dear readers and even dearer friends.

But alas, we have internet service, and cable again, only to find that I wouldn’t be seeing GH because, somehow I forgot that it was “Diez De Agosto”, better known as Saint Brenda Day on ABC and SoapNet. *sigh*

Hey, I loved Brenda back in the day, but I don’t need to watch old episodes during the time I should be watching what’s currently happening on GH and my other soaps, you know? I mean why didn’t ABC and SoapNet get creative and share the titles of great Brenda moments viewers could search for on YouTube? Oh well…no sense crying over spilled milk…what’s done is done.

So, if you are all missing GH and JaSam as much as I am today, I’m hoping that my Sunday Drive on Tuesday will help get you through!

I love you guys and thank you all for your patience and all the concerned emails I received in the past few days. Although I didn’t get to actually see them until a couple hours ago, just seeing that your concern grew with every passing day warmed my heart! You  guys are the best!

So…I found this vid and also found myself smiling a whole lot. You know what I love most about it? I actually heard this song on the radio the other day, and found myself picturing JaSam! How great to actually see a vid made to it, and by a new addition to our vidders’ club!
